PIEDMONT CLAYWORKS, DURHAM NC - HAND THROWN POTTERY
JulieRose Hinson, a Durham-born ceramic artist and co-founder of Outer Loop Arts, created the pottery pieces throughout Songbird. Trained in Seagrove under fifth-generation potter Sid Luck, her work is rooted in North Carolina clay traditions, wheel throwing, and wood firing. Her pieces bring warmth, playfulness, and a handmade connection to the space, grounding Songbird in the craft and community of our region.
