New Beginnings II

Acrylic on canvas, 24 × 30”

$1200

Habitat Series:

This series reflects on the quiet, instinctive search for belonging shared by all living beings, in moments of migration, adaptation, and rest. Through shifting colors and organic forms, I explore how we find sanctuary within change itself, and how any landscape can become a reflection of home.

Inspired by the resilient banana tree in my garden, a symbol of renewal and strength. With each season it withers and returns, a quiet reminder of nature’s enduring cycles.

Flow State (Red Moon)

Sometimes nature falls into a perfect flow state, every element in quiet harmony. Under the yellow moon, I tried to catch that effortless moment when sky, land, and moon seem to breathe as one.

Botanic Journal:

Seasonal moments in nature’s rhythm, drawn from the botanical beings I encounter. I try to hold the precious, passing moment of each season, knowing we are changing alongside it.

On a Walk

Acrylic on canvas, 48 × 24”

$2500

The first landscape I painted after moving to Raleigh, from an early-spring walk along the trails at Umstead Park, when the trees were still bare. I remember the wild mushrooms on old, cut logs, quiet signs of life in the stillness.

A River Runs Through It

Acrylic on canvas, 36 × 24”

$1200

A landscape is like the first impression of a new place or person, uneasy at first, until some small detail connects us. Nature is the connective tissue of all life, shifting in scale and form like free jazz, yet always finding her way to a divine harmony.
